Climate

There are very distinctive seasons in the UK, spring, summer autumn and winter and none more distinctive than in Scotland. The summer is regarded as high season when many tourists visit the main resorts of Scotland. The weather can be unpredictable but when the sun comes out, there are few places more enjoyable than the green fields, mountains and many loch’s to explore. The spring brings an abundance of flowers and can sometimes bring nicer weather than summer, with a number of beautiful clear days to enjoy all that Scotland has to offer.

The autumn can be wet and bleak with the onset of winter, but is usually short lived as the winter weather comes. Snow is very popular in Scotland with many of the big snow resorts inundated with budding snow-boarders and skiers, providing some of the best skiing in the world. Scotland’s scenery is magnificent winter comes, not only because of the abundance of wildlife you can see, but the fresh mountain air is very cleansing.
